Police
Policemen - agents or agencies, usually head authorized to put into practice the law and to make public and a social order through use legitimatized forces.
Term is usually connected with police departments of the state which are authorized to carry out police authority of that state within the limits of the certain legal or territorial area of the responsibility. The word arrives through the French language from latin politia ("civil authorities") which directly occurs from the Ancient Greek, for polis ("city").
The first police, comparable modern police has been established in 1667 at King Lui XIV in France though modern policemen usually trace their origin to 1800 establishment of Sea Police in London, Polices of Glasgow, and Napoleonic police of Paris.
