The Ukrainian/American Police Association
Begun in 1981 small group of the Chicago Policemen, we have turned to the organization with members from everywhere across the United States.
Our purposes: that bring together officials law enforcement activity of the Ukrainian heritage, help citizens of the Ukrainian heritage with their struggle against a crime and violence, help professionals law enforcement to activity of Ukraine with their transition to Democracy and Rules of law, facilitate mutually favourable contacts between the American and Ukrainian professionals law enforcement activity.

Our many accomplishments include:

- the first programs of training for the officials who are watching observance of laws of Ukraine in America.
- the first Conference of Realization of International law in Ukraine, after independence, with more than 30 presented countries.
- an extending group of support of professionals law enforcement activity of the Ukrainian heritage.
- growing membership, covering North American Continent.
- connection projects with leading university institutes law enforcement activity.
- the Help to the American programs of the Ministry of Justice involving Ukraine.
- the Help to the nongovernmental organizations participated in projects law enforcement activity in Ukraine.
- the Help to older persons of the Ukrainian heritage, and the new Ukrainian immigrants who have acclimatized by a new life in America.
